Hi Leanne,

I also think that Mosaic is a great initiative although it is strange how many people I know that don't think it represents multiculturalism it just 'tries' to. I just simply think it is fun and a great way to see a very small glimpse of other cultures and ethnicities. I am actually a member of the Laos mosaic which is very, very important to our people because it finally feels like we are being recognized. Nobody really knows where the country Laos is or who Laotian people are so the experience of our culture being in Mosaic for the past two years has been phenomenal. I encourage everyone to check out our pavillion. Some say it's boring, some say it's great but all that matters is that it is authentically representing our culture just like every other pavillion. I love Mosaic and I think it is great. All the work and organization from Regina's community is great as well! Thanks for the post!
